Interview with Katie Wassell | 20th May 2023
This is an interview taken from our RISE conference in 2022 with the amazing Katie Wassell, who since the interview, now lives in Rio, Brazil. She’s a powerhouse and all I can say is that she is in love with Jesus.

Reflecting on the interview, think about Katie's story and what moments stood out to you? Did you feel challenged in any particular way?
Start a prayer journal. Maybe this is something that you have thought of doing in the past, or maybe never considered doing this. Journaling can be a powerful way to reflect on your faith journey and is a way to deepen your relationship with God. It can be inspirational and is strengthening to your faithful prayers. Pray with faith and expectation, be specific with your requests and pray without ceasing.
Practice gratitude. Make a daily practice of listing three things that you are grateful for no matter how small they may seem, This can help shift your focus from what you don't have to what you do.
Katie is serving in a vulnerable community. Are there areas in your community, whether church or locally to where you live, that you could volunteer to serve in? Using your unique gifts and talents, you can make an incredible impact to the world around us, bringing His Kingdom to a broken and desperate wold.
