You have a purpose!

Written by Sarah Gibbons - Video featuring Esther, Sarah, Viv & Emma | 2nd November 2024

No matter what stage of life you are in, or what your everyday life looks like, you are a daughter of the King. You have power and presence and, as you encounter others, they will experience the love and grace of Jesus, you have a purpose.

You may not be someone who makes a loud noise about things, you may feel you just go about your daily life, but be assured you will have touched more people's lives than you realise.  What about that smile you gave to the person that walked past in the street, what about that thank you that’s been said as you paid for your groceries?

You might ask yourself, what have I done for the kingdom? As you watch or listen to podcasts, sermons, and songs you may feel a touch of inadequacy, what have I done? How can you use me? Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

You have a purpose!

The beautiful Sarah points us to 2 Cor. 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

The lovely Viv reminds us of Isaiah 46:4 Even to your old age and grey hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you. I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

All experiences can be used for God's glory, why not thank Him right now for using what you are holding in your hands at this time, whether that be mothering, caring, supporting, teaching, creating.. You have been designed with purpose, for purpose!

LET’S DO THIS

I recently came across this 5-day devotional which looks again at Discovering Purpose. You may want to spend some time each day to remind yourself that you have been designed with purpose….. for purpose!
